Good Food and Wine Show

A celebration of all things gourmet, the Good Food and Wine Show is a foodie’s paradise. Starting in 2001 in Melbourne, the show is now Australia’s largest consumer exhibition, staged annually in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

Since the beginning the show has attracted big name chefs from around the world, including famous faces Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Gabriel Gaté, Donna Hay and Maggie Beer, just to name a few. Presentations and demonstrations from celebrity chefs are one of the highlights of the show.

This year Masterclass Judge Gary Mehigan will cook up a storm on Friday and Saturday, while celebrated patissier, Adriano Zumbo and popular local chef and TV personality, Anna Gare will also be sending taste buds wild in the Good Food Theatre.

Showcasing the best in Australian wine, the show’s Cellar Door is sure to be a favourite. Sample wines from different regions and learn about different varieties and the best way to complement and appreciate them. Guests can taste four wines and learn how to pick a winning wine for a dinner party.

Each year the show has hundreds of exhibitors, so make sure you allow plenty of time to make your way around and sample all the mouth watering goodies. Lovers of cheese are sure to rejoice in Tucker’s Natural Cheese Alley, one of the show floor highlights, where you can discover and taste a full range of delicious cheeses and learn from the producers.
