Sweet Treats
Wine isn’t the only delicacy offered in the Swan Valley; it’s also home to The Margaret River Chocolate Factory and Mondo Nougat & chocolate.
The Margaret River Chocolate Company
The Margaret River Chocolate Factory is the largest chocolate factory in WA. They offer free entry to the venue and even free chocolate tastings!
Once you’ve stocked up on free tastings and wandered through the shop, be sure to check out the chocolates being made through the looking window.
By now you should be starving for some more chocolate so it’s the perfect time to head to the café and order one of the delicious chocolate dishes. We recommend the chocolate fondue; it’s great for sharing and has plenty of goodies to dip into the chocolate.
Take a seat on the deck and soak up the sunshine while you overlook the grape vines of neighbouring vineyards.
Located just next door to the chocolate factory is its sister company Providore. If you’re on the hunt for some good preserves or jams then this is the place for you. They also sell a wide variety of flavoured liqueurs that go well with an indulgent, late night chocolate snack.

Indulge in their famous nougat, homemade gelati biscotti and delicious cakes. A must-try is the Mondo Nougat Cheesecake, which combines the best of both worlds.
You can discover the traditions of Mondo Nougat from the special viewing area to watch how the product comes to life.
