The Joshua Tree

The Joshua Tree takes its title from the tree that survives in the American desert, and which became a source of inspiration for U2. Infact so much of the Joshua Tree album takes its inspiration from U2’s fascination with American culture. Following the album’s release in 1987, U2 embarked on a worldwide concert tour, the Joshua Tree Tour (April to December 1987). In 2019, they embark on their second one.
