IHG® Culinary Panel

The final installment of the IHG Culinary Panel’s Culinary Journey has begun at Gusti Restaurant & Bar! After hosting two award winning chefs over the past two months we are excited to present our third and final chef – Sam Leong.

Sam Leong

Born in Singapore Sam Leong has 25+ years experience in Chinese and Singaporean cuisine. His culinary journey began in the kitchen with his father who taught him the art of Chinese Singaporean food. Known as Singapore’s King of the Kitchen Sam Leong has numerous TV appearances and cookbooks. Chef Sam has had the honour of cooking for world luminaries including royal families, presidents and prime ministers. He has numerous awards to his name such as Best Asian Ethnic Chef of the Year (2005) and the Five Star Diamond Award (2008). An executive chef of a 5 star restaurant by the time he was 28 Sam Leong has had an elusive career. Although his greatest pleasure is working at his own restaurant ‘Forest’ named after his wife, in his hometown, Singapore.

From Monday the 19th of October until Sunday 15th November you are invited to taste Chef Sam’s specially crafted menu at Gusti Restaurant. Diners have the choice of 2 course, or 3. Enjoy a three course meal and get your second glass of wine for free!
